MathSciNet® is an electronic publication offering access to a carefully maintained and easily searchable database of reviews, abstracts and bibliographic information for much of the mathematical sciences literature. Over 100,000 new items are added each year, most of them classified according to the Mathematics Subject Classification.  Authors are uniquely identified (by their MR Author ID), enabling a search for publications by individual author rather than by name string. The Analytical Sciences Digital Library (ASDL), is an NSF-funded digital library, accessed at www.asdlib.org, that collects, catalogs, links and publishes peer reviewed web-based discovery materials pertinent to innovations in curricular development and supporting technical resources in the analytical sciences. The ASDL website (www.asdlib.org) is one of several collections funded by NSF’s National Science Digital Library (NSDL) program.

PubChem, released in 2004, provides information on the biological activities of small molecules. PubChem is organized as three linked databases within the NCBI's Entrez information retrieval system. These are PubChem Substance, PubChem Compound, and PubChem BioAssay. PubChem also provides a fast chemical structure similarity search tool. EconBiz is a search portal for economics; the portal was started in 2002 as the Virtual Library for Economics and Business Studies. That contains books and journals from the fields of economics, business studies and business practice. In addition, ECONIS lists articles from journals or compilations. Patent Facilitating Centre (PFC) was set up by Department of Science and Technology under Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) in 1995. Indiastat.com is a cluster of 57 sites including India-specific, Sector specific,Region specific and State specific sites rendering its dedicated services to the research fraternity from academic, professional and corporate world with authentic and comprehensive compilation of secondary level socio-economic statistical data about India and its states, Region and Sector on more than 35 variables.

Prowess is a database of the financial performance of Indian companies. Annual Reports of individual companies is the principal source of this database. The database covers listed and unlisted companies. For listed companies, the database includes data sourced from the stock exchanges.

The EPW Research Foundation (EPWRF), set up in January 1993 to mark the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Sameeksha Trust conducts research on financial and macro-economic issues in India. Since its inception, the EPWRF has built up expertise in important areas of economic research and analysis.
